How to log into OSX4.0: OSX4 uses a common authentication method that makes use of your Microsoft, Google (gmail), or Facebook account. This way, you are not creating a separate username and password just for OSX. Any email can be made into a Microsoft account. Click here to make your email a Microsoft Account (it’s free). Iron Compass will ask for the email of your account during initial setup.
Map Updates: Map updates are automatically downloaded from Iron Compass once a new update has been posted. You may also click the “synchronize” button in the “Tools” on the main panel. This will force a check for any updates (maps, facility plans, map markers, and hydrants).
